Evergreen mound of leathery dark-green leaves, developing showy bright-red tips during the winter months. Heads of lime-green flowers are an attractive feature in late spring and early summer.
Attractive green foliage with yellow edges. Clusters of variegated cream, lime and green flowers in spring. In fall leaves turn shades of red, pink and orange. Great in containers or in a mixed perennial bed.
Distinguished from the species by producing a bright ruby red spring foliage that matures to purple-black, cherry-red stems, compact-spreading habit, and yellow-bracted inflorescences to 6” tall containing abundant chartreuse floral bracts.
