About this plant
This deciduous woody vine is known for its vigorous climbing habit, making it ideal for trellises or pergolas. It thrives in USDA Hardiness Zones 5–9, preferring full sun and well-drained, fertile soil. This variety features stunning, fragrant white flowers that cascade in long, dramatic racemes up to 18 inches in spring, creating a breathtaking display. The lush green foliage provides a moderate fall color, turning to a gentle yellow. It is deer-resistant and can reach heights of up to 30 feet with proper support, showcasing its twining form. This plant requires pruning to maintain its shape and promote flowering. Perfect for gardeners seeking a standout vertical element in their landscapes.
