About this plant
This elegant weeping deciduous tree boasts a graceful, cascading habit, ideally suited for small gardens or focal points in the landscape. Hardy in Zones 5-8, it thrives in full sun to part shade, preferring well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Its fragrant, bell-shaped white flowers bloom in early summer, adding visual and sensory appeal. Leaves are green through the growing season, transitioning to a soft yellow in fall, providing seasonal interest. It develops ornamental, egg-shaped, pale green fruit that persists into fall. This compact tree matures to a height and spread of 6-8 feet, making it suitable for tight spaces or container growing. 'Fragrant Fountain' has moderate deer resistance, ensuring added durability in landscapes prone to browsing. Ideal for patios, courtyards, or zen-inspired gardens, this tree brings charm and serenity to any space.
