About this plant
This compact, mounding deciduous shrub is ideal for adding vibrant color to gardens and landscapes. Thriving in Zones 3-7, it offers excellent hardiness and performs best in full sun with well-drained soil, tolerating a range of soil conditions. Its foliage emerges in spring as bronze-tinted chartreuse and matures to a stunning golden tone, with a brilliant orange-red fall color for seasonal interest. In summer, this plant is adorned with clusters of small, bright pink flowers that attract pollinators. It grows to a modest height of 15-18 inches and spreads 18-24 inches, making it perfect for borders, mass plantings, or containers. Deer-resistant and low-maintenance, this shrub is highly adaptable and provides year-round beauty for any garden setting.
