About this plant
This small tree form offers a stunning, compact habit with an upright, rounded shape. Lustrous green foliage provides a striking backdrop for coral-pink blooms that have a subtle sweet fragrance and appear continuously throughout the growing season. Recommended for USDA zones 5-11, it thrives in full sun and adapts well to various soil types, preferring well-drained, slightly acidic soils. While it does not produce notable fall color, its clean, disease-resistant foliage remains attractive into the cooler months, and it has no significant fruit. Height typically reaches 4-5 feet in maturity with a similar spread. Known for its excellent disease resistance, drought tolerance, and deer resistance, this plant is a low-maintenance addition to sunny borders, containers, or accent plantings in garden landscapes.
