About this plant
This compact, mound-forming shrub features a spreading habit, making it an excellent choice for ground cover or garden borders. Recommended for USDA Hardiness Zones 4-11, it thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained, fertile soil. Producing a stunning display of coral to orange blooms from spring through frost, it offers continuous color and vibrant interest in any landscape. At maturity, it reaches a height of 1-2 feet and spreads 2-3 feet, making it manageable and ideal for smaller spaces. Known for its exceptional disease resistance and low-maintenance qualities, it is also moderately deer-resistant. This plant does not exhibit notable fall color, but its persistent blooms make up for it with months of dazzling display.
