About this plant
This deciduous shrub exhibits an upright, bushy habit, reaching a mature height of approximately 3 to 5 feet, with a spread of 2 to 3 feet. Suitable for zones 5-9, it thrives in temperatures ranging from 50°F to 85°F and performs best in well-drained, nutrient-rich soils with a slightly acidic to neutral pH. Renowned for its striking yellow flowers, it blooms prolifically throughout the growing season, emitting a pleasant fragrance. With medium green leaves, it does not develop significant fall color but is prized for its long-lasting flower show. This rose variety is moderately resistant to deer, making it a suitable addition to gardens in deer-prone areas. Ideal for borders, containers, and landscape focal points, it also bears petals perfect for cut flower arrangements. This is a fast-growing and rewarding pick for any sunny garden setting.
