Rosa David Austin® 'James Galway' (pink)

This deciduous shrub exhibits a bushy, upright habit and is renowned for its abundant, fragrant pink blooms with a soft, cupped flower shape, ideal for garden borders, hedges, or containers. Hardy in zones 5 to 9, it prefers temperate conditions with daytime temperatures ranging from 65°F to 75°F. The plant thrives in well-drained, loamy soil enriched with organic matter and full sun to partial shade. Fall color is minimal, but the rose maintains attractive, dense foliage throughout the season. Mature height reaches 4 to 5 feet, with a similar spread, making it a medium-sized shrub perfect for small spaces. Fruits or hips may develop after flowering, providing seasonal interest and wildlife support. This variety offers some deer resistance, reducing the likelihood of browsing. Ideal for cottage gardens, cut flower arrangements, or rose enthusiasts seeking strong fragrance and classic beauty.
