About this plant
This deciduous shrub has a bushy, upright habit with strong, arching stems supporting large, deep pink, cupped blooms that exude a rich, old-rose fragrance. Recommended for USDA hardiness zones 5-10, it thrives in well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soils and prefers full sun to partial shade. It performs best in temperatures between 60°F and 75°F. While its foliage doesn’t contribute significant fall color, its blooms persist throughout the growing season, adding vibrant tones to gardens until frost. The mature size reaches 4.5 feet in height and 3.5 feet wide, making it ideal for borders and hedges. Notably deer-resistant, it is a robust rose perfect for display and cutting gardens.
