Rosa David Austin® 'Desdemona' (white)

This deciduous English shrub rose exhibits a compact, bushy habit with an upright form, making it an excellent choice for borders or containers. Hardy in USDA zones 5 through 9, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained, fertile soil with consistent moisture. Its lush, green foliage provides a lovely backdrop for the cupped, double, white blooms with a hint of peach and a strong myrrh fragrance, blooming repeatedly from late spring to fall. While it doesn’t produce notable fall color or fruit, its flowers' delicate beauty is unrivaled. Mature plants reach a height of about 4 feet with a similar spread. This rose offers moderate deer resistance and is a reliable, show-stopping addition to any garden.
