About this plant
This stunning deciduous shrub has a bushy, upright habit and is known for its exquisite yellow, cupped blooms with a light to strong tea fragrance. Hardy in Zones 4-9, it thrives in temperatures between 60-75°F, making it ideal for most temperate gardens. In the fall, the foliage turns a modest green, complementing the warmer floral tones. Prefers rich, well-draining soils with moderate moisture, often seen flourishing in full sunlight to partial shade. The blooms attract pollinators while the plant offers moderate deer resistance. This rose typically matures to a height of 4-5 feet with a spread of around 3-4 feet, forming a graceful mound-like shape, perfect for borders or as a focal point in a mixed garden bed.
