About this plant
This vigorous climbing rose variety boasts a robust, upright habit, making it an excellent choice for trellises, arbors, and walls. Recommended for hardiness in zones 5-9, it thrives in moderate temperatures, favoring full sun for optimal growth and flowering. Its lush green foliage provides a striking backdrop to clusters of vibrant crimson-red blooms that exude a mild, pleasant fragrance. While it does not produce significant fruit, it captivates with its remarkable floral display from late spring through fall. This rose prefers well-drained, nutrient-rich soil and requires regular watering during establishment. Deer-resistant and resilient, it reaches a mature height of 8-12 feet with proper support, making it an ideal solution for vertical garden spaces.
