About this plant
This deciduous shrub exhibits a low-growing, mounded habit, reaching heights of up to 2 to 3 feet with a similar spread. It thrives in Zones 3 through 7 and prefers full sun to partial shade for optimal growth. Its dainty, pink flowers bloom profusely from late spring through early fall, adding vibrant color to landscapes. The foliage consists of fine-textured, dark green leaves that may develop subtle yellow hues during autumn. This plant is deer-resistant and grows well in well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Ideal for borders, mass plantings, or rock gardens, it is also drought-tolerant once established, and its compact form makes it an excellent choice for smaller spaces.
