About this plant
Parrotia persica 'JL Columnar' PP24951, commonly known as Persian Ironwood, is a stunning deciduous tree with an upright, narrow, columnar habit, perfect for small spaces or formal landscapes. It features glossy green foliage in spring and summer that transitions into vibrant shades of orange, red, and yellow in fall, creating a spectacular display. Small, ruby-red blossoms appear in late winter to early spring before the foliage emerges. This cultivar is valued for its architectural form, adaptability, and low-maintenance needs.
