About this plant
Paeonia lactiflora 'Fiona' is a herbaceous perennial known for its lush, double blooms in striking dark pink that add a vibrant touch to any garden. It forms a bushy clump that reaches a mature height of approximately 28 to 32 inches. This peony is hardy to USDA Zones 3 through 8, tolerating temperatures as low as -40°F, making it suitable for a wide range of climates. Each blossom can be as large as 6 inches in diameter, releasing a pleasant fragrance, and is supported by sturdy stems that typically require no staking. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and benefits from well-drained, fertile soil. Once established, 'Fiona' is long-lived and low maintenance, adding elegance and beauty to the perennial border.
