About this plant
Iris sibirica 'Happy Returns' is a stunning perennial with a graceful, upright habit perfect for adding elegance to borders and garden beds. This Siberian Iris thrives in Hardiness Zones 3 through 9 and prefers full sun to partial shade. It is resilient to cooler temperatures, making it ideal for various climates, although it performs best in temperatures ranging from 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. 'Happy Returns' showcases charming light purple blooms that emerge in late spring to early summer, reaching a mature height of up to 36 inches. While it has moderate deer resistance, this Iris is most effective when planted in well-drained, moist soil. Its elegant blooms and sword-like foliage add vertical interest, making it a delightful addition to any landscape design.
