About this plant
Iris sibirica 'Currier' is a magnificent perennial known for its striking purple and white blooms. This clump-forming plant has a graceful, upright habit and thrives in full sun to partial shade. It is recommended for hardiness zones 3 to 9, tolerating a variety of temperatures, but flourishes best in cooler climates. The 'Currier' variety is not only adored for its vibrant color but also for its deer-resistant qualities. At maturity, this iris reaches a height of 24 to 36 inches, making it an excellent choice for adding height and color to garden beds or along the edges of ponds or water features. Its robust nature and ability to thrive in various conditions make it a beloved choice among gardeners looking to enhance their landscapes with a touch of elegance.
