About this plant
Hosta 'Twilight' is a stunning perennial that features broad, heart-shaped leaves with deep green centers and bright gold margins, creating a striking contrast. Known for its mounding habit, this shade-loving plant thrives in USDA hardiness zones 3 to 9. It prefers a cooler climate, ideally in temperatures ranging from 60°F to 75°F. Hosta 'Twilight' is highly valued for its deer resistance, making it a popular choice for gardens prone to deer visits. At maturity, it reaches an approximate height of 18 to 24 inches. It does not produce significant weight as it is primarily grown for its foliage. The plant also produces lavender flowers on tall scapes in midsummer, adding further ornamentation to shady garden spots.
