About this plant
Hosta 'Guacamole' is a vigorous and attractive herbaceous perennial known for its lush, variegated foliage. This shade-loving plant displays broad, heart-shaped leaves with striking gold centers and rich green margins, creating a delightful two-toned appearance. It typically thrives in USDA Hardiness Zones 3 to 9, with recommended temperatures between 60°F to 80°F for optimal growth. 'Guacamole' is highly prized for its resistance to deer, making it an ideal choice for gardens prone to wildlife. It reaches a mature height of about 20 to 24 inches and produces fragrant lavender flowers on tall stalks during the midsummer, adding an extra touch of beauty to any shady garden landscape.
