About this plant
Hosta x 'Colored Hulk' is a perennial plant known for its striking foliage. This variety features large, heart-shaped leaves that exhibit a vibrant blend of greens and yellows, adding a dynamic pop of color to shaded garden areas. The plant grows in a clump-forming habit, reaching a height of about 18 to 24 inches. Hosta x 'Colored Hulk' is recommended for USDA hardiness zones 3 through 9, making it suitable for a wide range of temperate climates. It thrives best in cool temperatures and prefers partial to full shade for optimal growth. While not entirely deer-resistant, it is less desirable to these animals compared to other garden plants. This plant does not produce significant blooms, and its appeal lies predominantly in its colorful foliage.
