About this plant
Helleborus WINTER JEWELS 'Fire & Ice' is a captivating perennial plant, known for its striking bi-colored blooms. This evergreen plant has a clumping habit, ideal for adding color to winter and early spring gardens. Recommended for hardiness in USDA zones 4-9, it thrives in cool to temperate climates with temperatures ranging from 15°F to 30°F (-9°C to -1°C). The blooms are a blend of deep burgundy and pure white, adding visual interest and contrast to shaded garden beds. With a mature height of approximately 12 to 18 inches, it is compact yet impactful, making it suitable for containers as well. It has excellent deer resistance, which is a significant advantage for gardens in areas with high deer populations. This Helleborus variety is admired for its long-lasting blooms and ability to brighten up garden spaces during the colder months.
