About this plant
Gaillardia aristata 'Spintop Red Starburst' PPAF is a striking perennial known for its vibrant blooms that can add a pop of color to any garden. This plant features a compact, clump-forming habit and is ideal for garden borders or as part of a mixed perennial display. It thrives best in USDA Hardiness Zones 3-9, with a recommended temperature tolerance suitable for a variety of climates. The brilliant red and yellow daisy-like flowers with a starburst pattern make it an eye-catching addition. Typically reaching a height of 12-15 inches, it's a medium-sized plant that doesn't overwhelm garden spaces. It also offers the added benefit of being deer resistant, ensuring your blooms remain untouched. Gaillardia is a low-maintenance plant, preferring full sun and well-drained soil, making it a resilient choice for both novice and experienced gardeners.
