About this plant
This upright, self-pollinating shrub is known for its vigorous, hardy growth and excellent fruiting capabilities. It thrives in USDA Zone 3-8, tolerating cooler climates with optimal growth in temperatures ranging from 65-85°F. The plant produces abundant, medium-sized, bright red raspberries with a sweet, slightly tangy flavor, perfect for fresh eating and jams. Its small, white, inconspicuous flowers in spring give way to its fruitful summer harvest. This plant has no significant fall leaf color and features green foliage throughout the season. It enjoys well-drained, rich, slightly acidic soil and reaches a mature height of 4-6 feet with an upright arching form. Deer-resistant and low maintenance, this shrub is an excellent choice for edible landscapes or berry farms.
