About this plant
This elegant perennial features a graceful, arching habit with soft green foliage, complemented by delicate white, heart-shaped flowers that bloom in late spring to early summer. Hardy in zones 3-9, it thrives in partial to full shade and prefers cool temperatures ranging from 55°F to 75°F. Ideal for woodland gardens, it grows to a mature height of 24-36 inches and spreads up to 24 inches. Deer-resistant and low-maintenance, it flourishes in moist, well-draining soil rich in organic matter. The foliage dies back in summer heat, making room for other garden treasures. Its enchanting form and gentle color make it a favorite choice for shaded landscapes.
