About this plant
This elegant weeping tree features a graceful, pendulous habit with cascading branches that showcase an abundance of vibrant pink flowers in early spring, providing a breathtaking display. Hardy in Zones 5-9, it thrives in temperatures ranging from -10°F to 90°F. Its heart-shaped leaves emerge a fresh green in spring and transition to a clear yellow in fall, adding seasonal interest. Prefers well-drained, moderately fertile soil and grows to a mature height of 10-15 feet with a comparable spread, forming a striking, rounded shape. This cultivar is also moderately deer-resistant, making it a practical choice for diverse landscapes. Compact in size, it is ideal for small gardens, patios, or as a specimen tree in larger settings.
