About this plant
Clematis x 'Violet Elizabeth' is a striking deciduous vine celebrated for its profusion of pink blooms with a hint of violet, adding a touch of elegance to gardens. This clematis is a vigorous climber, reaching heights of 8-12 feet, perfect for trellises or fences. Hardy in USDA zones 4 through 9, it can tolerate temperatures down to -30°F and thrives in full sun to partial shade. At maturity, it presents a lush, floriferous display, making it a favorite for both gardeners and landscape designers seeking a colorful vertical accent. A moderate grower, it benefits from annual pruning to promote vigorous blooming.
