About this plant
A striking deciduous shrub with a rounded, compact habit, this variety showcases clusters of double white flowers that bloom in late spring, adding elegance and charm to any garden. It thrives best in USDA Zones 5-8, preferring a cool, temperate climate and a recommended temperature range between 60-75°F. The foliage turns a brilliant yellow to reddish hue in the fall, adding seasonal interest. It grows in acidic, well-draining, moist soils rich in organic matter and reaches a mature height of 4-6 feet. This plant is not heavy and is moderately resistant to deer. Its dense shape and beautiful blooms make it ideal for foundation plantings, woodland gardens, or as a hedge.
