About this plant
Acer palmatum 'Oto hime' is a captivating Japanese maple cultivar prized for its compact size, fine-textured foliage, and vibrant seasonal interest. This dwarf variety features small, deeply lobed leaves that emerge in spring with rich reddish-pink tones, transitioning to fresh green in summer, and eventually showcasing bright yellow and orange hues in autumn. Its dense, spreading habit makes it ideal for small gardens, container planting, or as an eye-catching focal point in patios and courtyards. 'Oto hime' thrives when positioned in partial shade to avoid leaf scorch and offers stunning ornamental appeal in any landscape design.
