About this plant
Acer palmatum 'Hubb's Red Willow' is a striking Japanese maple prized for its delicate, narrow, deeply-lobed leaves that resemble willow foliage, creating a graceful appearance. The foliage emerges deep red in the spring, matures to purplish-red through summer, and transforms into vibrant crimson hues in autumn, making it a perfect specimen for seasonal interest. Compact in size with an upright yet finely textured growth habit, this cultivar is ideal for small gardens or as a focal point in landscape settings. Its elegant structure provides year-round visual appeal, blending beautifully into mixed plantings or standalone displays.
