Populus tremuloides, commonly known as Quaking Aspen, is a deciduous tree appreciated for its ability to thrive in a clumping formation, known as Clump (CG). It exhibits a graceful habit with smooth, white bark and leaves that flutter in the lightest breeze, providing a soothing rustling sound. Hardiness is shown robustly in temperatures as low as -40°F, making it suitable for USDA Zones 1 through 6. In the fall, its foliage turns a vibrant yellow, adding a splash of color to the landscape. A mature Quaking Aspen can reach a height of 20 to 50 feet, creating an impressive display with a spread that enhances its stability and resilience.
